We here at The Ozarks Mountaineer
have always asked for your input. Tell us what you think of our
magazine and how to improve on it. Give us suggestions on what YOU
would like to read more about. Is there something special going
on in your neck of the woods? Let us know and maybe others would
like to know more about it as well.
Now let me tell you a bit of our history. It truly is fascinating!
The
Ozarks Mountaineer is the only Ozarks-wide
magazine in all 50 states, and a few foreign countries as well.
The magazine offers histories of people and places, folklore, out-of-the-way
places to see and visit, arts, crafts, pioneer skills, folk music
and much, much more. In addition to articles, there are columns
featuring cookery, poetry, humor, events, gardening, then and now,
folk music, reviews of recordings and reviews of books. Writers
may request guidelines and are encouraged to submit articles for
publication. Most of the content of the magazine is done by free-lance
writers. Advertising rates are online,
or call for information.
